FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Questions our customers frequently ask us! How much does bowling cost? Check out our price lists for all of our prices. Do I need to make a booking? Casual bowling - yes, it is always best to make a booking before you come in. Group bookings (more than 10) Yes, if you are organising a group to come bowling, make your booking as far as possible in advance, you will then need to confirm your numbers before you are coming on to bowl. Do we require a deposit? Casual bowling (less than 15) No, but we do request that you let us know if you are unable to come or have reduced numbers, so we can sell the lanes to other people. How long does a game take? For a game, 6 people will take approximately 60 minutes, 5 people 50 minutes, 4 people 40 minute and so on. We do request that you arrive 10 minutes before your booking time to have your lane allocated, pay the counter and to get your shoes. If you are late we cannot hold your bookings if other people are booked to follow you. How do we do the scoring? The scoring system is totally automatic, you do not need to do anything, the machine does it all. What is the highest score you can get? 300, this is achieved by getting a strike every ball you bowl. Can we have a print out of our scores to take away? Yes, just ask for a print out when you return your shoes. Do we need to bring any special equipment? No, everything is provided and included in our prices, but we suggest you bring socks or you can purchase them from us for $4.50 Do we have to wear bowling shoes? Yes, bowling shoes have special leather soles that prevent damage to the bowling lanes. Also when bowling the ball correctly you slide on the approach, and your street shoes do not allow you to do this. Is food and drink available? Yes, food and drink is available at all times we are open and up to 30 minutes before we close. We have a fully licensed bar. Can we bring our own food and drink? No, our food and drink licenses do not allow you to bring your own into the centre. Do you have wheelchair access? Yes, we have wheelchair access in to the building, and wheelchair access to some of the lanes. If you require wheelchair access to lanes, please book well in advance and state your requirement when you make a booking, so we can allocate the wheelchair access lanes to you.
